You don't need a cart. You need every shopper to know exactly where to buy.
A cannabis brand can't sell direct, so the only conversion its site has is the handoff: a shopper who wants your product finding a store that actually has it. Every Buddy brand product page ends in a real store locator — retailers carrying that product, what they have in stock, and a link into their menu.

Real stock, not a list
A store locator connected to real inventory.
Most brand sites end at a "where to buy" page — a static wall of addresses that was accurate the week it was published. Buddy's locator is per product and per retailer: the shopper looking at one SKU sees the stores carrying that SKU, with stock signals from the retailer side rather than a guess.
- Per-product results — the locator answers "who has this," not "who knows us."
- Live stock signals per location, like the number of your SKUs on that store's shelf.
- Map and list views, searchable by city or ZIP.
- Out-of-stock locations say so instead of sending a shopper on a wasted trip.

No cart on the brand site — the purchase finishes on the retailer's own menu.
The handoff
One click into checkout — just not yours.
When a shopper picks a store, they land in that retailer's own menu or ordering platform with the purchase ready to finish. Third-party menu and ordering integrations plug in here, so "find a store" routes into a live cart instead of dropping someone on a map pin and hoping they call ahead.
- Routes into the retailer's live ordering platform where one is connected.
- Falls back to store details and directions everywhere else.
- The retailer keeps the transaction, the compliance, and the customer relationship.
- You keep the credit for the demand you created.
Always one click away
Your retailer network, everywhere on the site.
A brand site has no cart icon and no account menu, so the retailer directory takes that place in the navigation. It sits in the header where a shopper expects to find it and again in the footer as your preferred partners — the same directory the product pages point into.
In the header
A Retailers link where a retail site would put the cart, so the path to purchase is visible from any page.
In the footer
Your preferred partners listed sitewide, doubling as recognition for the accounts already carrying you.
On every product page
The locator closes each product story with the stores stocking that exact SKU right now.
FAQ
Questions about the retailer network.
How do retailers get added to my network?
You control the directory. Retailers you already sell into are added to your network, and each location can carry its own details — address, hours, and the link shoppers use to order from that store. As you land new accounts, the store shows up in the locator and on every product page it carries.
Does this require a specific POS or menu integration?
It works either way. Where a retailer's menu or ordering platform is connected, the locator can show live per-product stock signals and route straight into that store's ordering flow. Where it isn't, the location still appears with address, hours, and a link out — you're never blocked from listing a partner.
What if a product is out of stock everywhere?
The page says so rather than sending a shopper to a store that can't fill the order. Stock signals come from the retailer side, so a sold-out product shows as unavailable at that location and the shopper is pointed to the rest of your lineup instead of a dead end.
Can shoppers find my retailers without going through a product page?
Yes. The same directory is linked from the site header and footer, so a shopper who arrives on a story page, a collab page, or the homepage is always one click from the full retailer list.
