Personalization & Loyalty

Every shopper sees a different store — the one that gets them to buy.

Sign a customer in and the storefront changes: their points, their rewards, their products. Meanwhile the deals you already wrote get detected, bundled, and surfaced to the shoppers closest to unlocking them.

    Signed in vs. anonymous

A homepage that knows who's shopping.

A logged-out visitor gets a fast, clean menu. A logged-in customer gets their own store: a points panel with progress toward the next reward, a list of rewards they can redeem right now, and a product rail built from what they have actually bought.

    Points panel with progress

Current balance and how far the shopper is from the next reward, right on the homepage.

    Redeemable rewards list

What they can claim today, redeemable in the same session instead of at the counter.

    Personalized product rail

Recommendations pulled from their own order history and browsing, not a generic bestseller list.

    Smart deals

Deals that find the shopper, not the other way around.

Two things happen automatically. The smart cross-sell banner tells a shopper, in real time, exactly how close they are to unlocking a deal. And the platform reads your deal titles the way a person would: name a promo "Buy 2 Get 1 Free," "6 for $100," or "$20 off Buy 2" and Buddy works out how to bundle it and where to surface it — no rule builder, no per-deal configuration.

    • Plain-language deal titles are parsed into real bundles.
    • The cart banner updates live as items are added or removed.
    • Works across the menu, the cart, and the product page.

The unlock carries all the way through checkout.

    One system

Built on the same loyalty program, everywhere.

Points and rewards are not a separate island. The same balance drives the storefront panel, the popups that capture signups, and the campaigns that go out by email and SMS — one program, one record per customer.

    One customer record

The signed-in shopper and the CRM contact are the same person, with one history.

    Popups that know the balance

Prompt a signup, a redemption, or a top-up based on where the shopper actually stands.

    Campaigns that use it

Points balances and reward reminders drop into email and SMS sends automatically.

    Deals stay consistent

A promo reads the same on the menu, in the cart, and in the email that announced it.

See the contact side of the same system on the CRM & Marketing Automation page.

    FAQ

    Questions about personalization.

Do I need to configure personalization manually?

No. The signed-in experience, the rewards panel, and the recommendation rail switch on with the storefront. Deal bundling reads the deal titles you already write, so a promo named "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" is understood and surfaced without a merchandiser building a rule for it.

Does this work with my existing loyalty program?

Yes. Points and rewards can come from your own program or from a connected loyalty platform such as Alpine IQ, and the same balance shows on the storefront, in popups, and in email campaigns.

What do shoppers who aren't logged in see?

A clean, fast anonymous storefront: featured products, current deals, and the smart cross-sell banner. Nothing breaks and nothing is gated — the personalized panels simply appear once they sign in.

How does the smart cross-sell banner know what to say?

It compares what is in the cart against the deals active on your menu and shows how close the shopper is to unlocking one — for example, one more eligible item to hit a 6 for $100 bundle — updating in real time as the cart changes.

Is personalization included or does it cost extra?

Loyalty and personalization ship with the storefront — there is no separate rewards vendor to license or wire up.
